Congratulations to Bill Tigner and US Shredder on their 10th Anniversary.
The company has become a major supplier of shredders, nonferrous systems and wear parts over the past decade. Part of the company’s growth has been credited to its turnkey installation capabilities. In the first of half 2016 the company will complete 2 major nonferrous downstream systems as well as a 7090 aluminum shredder installation. With the addition of a new conveyor supplier, the company also increased its engineering capability and capacity.
In 2015, US Shredder also partnered with A Fines Solution. The two companies work together to supply nonferrous systems at no equipment investment to the customer. They currently have supplied 5 nonferrous systems under the program.
The company has also expanded internationally, selling a nonferrous plant in Brazil in the 4th quarter of 2015. Also in 2015, the company greatly increased its nonferrous application knowledge with addition of Ryan Njavro as its Nonferrous Systems Manager.
Means Advertising is proud to have worked with US Shredder for most of those years and we have a learned a fair amount about the recycling industry, hammers, shredders, fluff and zorba along the way.
We even made it to NASCAR with them a few years ago when they were a sponsor of David Ragan's No. 34 Ford Fusion for the Charlotte All-Star race.
US Shredder is also a company that gives back. They have developed a program, Castings for a Cure, that donates a portion of their October casting sales to breast cancer research each year.
10 years is a big milestone for this great company and we are looking forward to the next 10!.
